2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid: engine and performance
The 2020 model year is expected to get with its familiar 4-cylinder engines, but it is very likely that the carmaker will bring the hybrid engine also to the United States. The hybrid version of this model has already been presented at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show.
On the other hand, the standard model will return with the same engines and there are two options. The second is a 1.5-liter inline-4 turbocharged engine. Both engines are mated to a continuously variable transmission.
2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid: Design of exterior and interior
The CR-V SUV has been completely revised in 2017, so the 2020 version won’t get any changes now. The 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid will look like the standard model which has gotten a more muscular design and more aggressive design of the wheels.
The interior of the 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid is perfectly packed and provides very good space, even more than expected. The higher trim levels will add a 12-way power adjustable driver’s seat which is very comfortable even at longer rides.
The standard equipment in the base LX model includes Bluetooth, automatic climate control, audio system with four speakers, a 5.0-inch color screen, a rearview camera, and cruise control. The hybrid version is expected to be offered in EX, EX-L, and Touring trim levels. The EX trim comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen with the infotainment system, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay connectivity, keyless ignition, a power moonroof, an extra USB, and a 12-way power driver’s seat.
2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid: Release date and price
Even it is not yet officially confirmed, the 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid should appear sometime at the end of this year. The price is expected to be in a range of $27,000 to $39,000 depending on a trim level.
